According to the American Optometric Association (AOA), Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of severe vision loss in adults over age 50.*

Our office has seen this trend among our aging patients and has decided that we needed to provide our patients with a way of decreasing their risk of developing AMD.

We offer our patients the Zeavision QuantifEye which we use as a screening device to measure Macular Pigment Optical Density (MPOD).

​​​​​​​This device measures the amount of Lutein and Zeaxanthin in your macular. As a modifiable risk factor, you can help manage your AMD risks.
